Katie Hall is a translator and writer specialising in French-to-English and German-to-English translation, with more than twenty years of professional experience. She holds a first-class degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded the Tasker Prize for Modern Languages, and her academic background also includes a year at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and postgraduate study at University College London.
